The “Advanced Stroke & Speed Camp” is structured to enhance the four competitive strokes through greater efficiency and application of movements to generate speed.  In addition to body position, stroke efficiency, breathing and timing, the STROKE & SPEED CAMP focuses on stroke rate, tempo and reduced stroke counts.  We combine drills, stroke mechanics and power by utilizing specified training drills and sets to promote and enhance faster swimming with greater efficiency. The camp is designed for ages 11-18 or campers returning to the Impact Aquatics Group LLC experience.

Our program utilizes (4) new aluminum PowerRacks, (8) bungees cords, (12) parachutes, (20) Finis snorkels and several other equipment items to promote power, efficiency and SPEED. We offer (3) training groups for older and younger campers.  Training intensity and yardage are differentiated by (3) training groups for a highly personalized experience.

Our campers receive 10:1 camper-to-coach ratios.  The drill progressions are taught in the classroom first, then administered within large and small group instructional settings in our 14-lane facility.  Use of training equipment is provided including: paddles, snorkels (sanitized before each session), weights, bungees, and golf balls.  We pride ourselves on individual feedback, knowing EVERY CAMPER BY NAME!

Several of our high school campers grades 9-12 have requested additional strength & conditioning education and training.  We are again contracting a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NCSA) for 2025 at no additional charge.  All high school campers will have the opportunity to be educated and trained by a certified specialist at the UWSP Strength Center.  The education component will include safety, modalities, equipment options, modifications and how to train leading into championship meets.  The training component at camp will include daily/weekly/monthly progressions, movement examples, appropriate weight and posture(safety!), implementation of circuits, rest and recovery.

Overnight camper - $595 (includes online registration fees, taxes paid by registrant).  $200.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED AT REGISTRATION.  PAY BALANCE BY June 01, 2025.
